Nairobi to Mombasa freight
Kenya's busiest freight corridor links the capital with the port of Mombasa, about 480 km by road. Beba connects the businesses moving goods along it with vetted transporters who already run it, so every load is priced upfront, tracked live and paid for only when it arrives.

How it works on the corridor
- Find a transporter already running the route, post your load for bids, or book space on a scheduled truck.
- Agree the price in the chat, on a call or by voice note before anything moves.
- Pay up front; Beba holds it. Live loading photos release half to the transporter.
- Track the truck live up the corridor. Your receiver in Mombasa (or Nairobi) can follow on a web link.
- The receiver signs on delivery, with a live photo, and Beba releases the rest.

Questions
How does payment work?
You pay the full agreed amount up front in the app (M-Pesa included) and Beba holds it. Half goes to the transporter when the live loading photos are confirmed, and the rest only when your receiver signs for delivery. Fees are set out in our terms.
Can the receiver track the delivery without the app?
Yes. The receiver gets a secure web link that shows the truck live, and signs on the driver's phone at drop-off.
Is my cargo insured?
Owners must hold goods-in-transit insurance to be verified on Beba.
When does Beba launch?
The marketplace is in development and Beba for Business comes next. We'll tell the waitlist first.
